York Regional Police are investigating after a man checked himself into a Vaughan hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a shooting incident early Saturday.
Police responded to a report of shots fired near Steeles Avenue and Weston Road at about 2 a.m. Saturday. A short time later, a man visited the hospital with wounds allegedly connected to the incident, police said.
Investigators are looking for any witnesses to come forward.
No arrests have been made.
