A man has died after he was struck by a car.
Police say a 57-year-old pedestrian was struck crossing an intersection on Eglinton Ave., just west of Victoria Park Ave., around 9 p.m. on Friday.
The 61-year-old driver stayed at the scene and no one else was injured, according to police.
Paramedics said he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Roads have been closed as a result of the collision, police say.
The man’s name has not been made public.
