A 33-year-old man has died of his injuries in hospital after an industrial accident in Mississauga Sunday, Peel police say.
The man was rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after being pinned between a wall and a piece of machinery in the Derry Road East and Airport Road area around 1:30 p.m., EMS said.
Paramedics said his chest had been crushed.
The accident happened as the man was helping someone remove a piece of machinery from the back of a truck, Peel Police told CP24. Police said the machinery shifted and trapped the man.
The Ministry of Labour will be assisting with the investigation into the man's death, police said.
