A man has died after being pinned by a vehicle in Vaughan.
York Regional Police said the man was working on Tuesday morning in a yard at 3627 Rutherford Rd., near Weston Road, when he was pinned between a vehicle and a tree.
Police said it is believed that the 79-year-old was trying to roll an inoperable vehicle on the property when he lost control and became pinned.
An Ornge air ambulance was called to the scene, but the man succumbed to his injuries.
The coroner is investigating, and the Ministry of Labour has been called to the site.
