PARRY SOUND, Ont. - A Hamilton woman is dead after her car hit a moose just north of Parry Sound.
Provincial police say the collision Tuesday night on the Trans-Canada Highway in Shawanaga Township peeled the roof of the car back to the passenger seats.
Fifty-four-year-old Diane Paquette was pronounced dead at the scene.
The dead moose was found 25 metres away.
