A 15-year-old girl is dead after she was struck by a car in Mississauga on Friday night.
Peel Regional Police said they were called to the corner of Glen Erin Drive and Britannia Road West at 8:24 p.m.. for a report of a collision.
The girl was taken to a local hospital with critical injuries and was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene, police said.
The intersection where the collision occurred was closed for several hours to allow for an investigation.
