Police are searching for a suspect after a gas station in Etobicoke was robbed by a man with a handgun.

Police said the suspect entered a Husky gas station on Royal York Road, south of Dixon Road, shortly after 10:30 p.m.

The disguised man flashed his gun, and demanded money from the register.

The man was given an unknown amount of cash then fled the scene. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect has been described as a white male, approximately 5-foot-9 tall. He was wearing black clothing and carrying a black bag.

Police said he's believed to be armed and dangerous. The public is advised not to approach him, but to call 911 immediately if he is seen.
