An Eaton Centre restaurant that has fed hungry shoppers for the last 34 years has closed its doors.
Mr. Greenjeans, the family-friendly eatery which sits high atop the downtown mall on the fourth floor, made the announcement on Twitter Wednesday afternoon.
Thank You to @MrGreenjeansTO staff & guests for your support for the last 34 yrs at the @toeatoncentre, it's been a pleasure to serve you...

Many Torontonians still held a soft spot for the restaurant and it's crowd-pleasing comfort dishes.
I'm sad about #MrGreenJeans -- we were there on Monday for our traditional last-day-of-summer lunch. I remember going there in uni, too.
