All lanes of the eastbound Queen Elizabeth Way have reopened at Southdown Road, just east of Erin Mills Parkway, after a tractor-trailer rollover shut down part of the major roadway Monday morning.

Police and the Ministry of Transportation shut down all three eastbound lanes to investigate what caused the truck to roll over, hours after the crash that happened at 1:30 a.m.

Crews were working to clean up the debris that was scattered across the QEW when the truck crashed.

The two left lanes were open during morning rush hour to prevent major delays, but Ontario Provincial Police closed all the lanes for the investigation at 9 a.m.

At 10 a.m., OPP opened the ramps and two left lanes, but the roadway wasn't completely reopened until 11:30 a.m.
