A person who exited a disabled vehicle on Highway 400 was struck and killed by oncoming traffic early Friday.
The collision occurred on Highway 400 near Highway 401 at about 3 a.m., police said. The driver left the vehicle and was struck by another vehicle near the Black Creek Drive exit.
The driver was attempting to address a vehicle issue at the time of the collision, police said.
Two lanes of the southbound Highway 400 were shut down until about 7:15 a.m. for the police investigation.
