School buses have been cancelled in some districts due to the weather.

Here is a list of cancellations for Wednesday, February 5, 2014:

  • York Region: All school buses to public and Catholic schools are cancelled.
  • Peel District School Board: All buses in Brampton, Caledon and Mississauga are cancelled.
  • Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board: All buses are cancelled; Technological Studies Health and Safety Training for Cosmetology Teachers at St. Joseph SS is cancelled.
  • Halton public and Catholic schools: Student transportation cancelled (Zones 1, 2 and 3).
  • Durham Region: Student transportation is cancelled north of Highway 7 for public and Catholic schools.
  • Wellington-Dufferin Student Transportation Services: All buses cancelled for schools in Dufferin County (Division 4, Green Card); East Garafraxa Public School, Laurelwoods Elementary School and Primrose Public School are closed.
  • Oxford, Elgin and Middlesex: county school buses are cancelled.
  • Chatham-Kent
  • Sarnia-Lambton
  • All buses serving Essex County and Windsor
  • GO Buses are experiencing delays of up to 120 minutes.
  • Centennial College: evening and Continuing Education classes cancelled this evening.
  • Seneca College: Continuing Education classes cancelled this evening, campuses remain open.
  • TDSB: All evening programs, including permits, COntinuing Education night school, adult credit and non-credit night. school programs are cancelled. Child care centres, including after school programs, will continue to operate on regular hours.
  • Humber College: All full-time, continuing education and on-line classes are cancelled. Humber's Child Care Centres will remain open until parents are able to pick-up their children. The college is open and essential services will continue to be provided.
  • Incliment weather has caused the cancellation of tonight's meeting of the Halton District School Board.
  • triOS College: Toronto Campus at Shrbourne and Bloor cancelling evening classes today from 6-10pm.
  • George Brown College: is cancelling all continuing evening classes. All campuses, services and childcare centres are currently open.
  • York University: Keele and Glendon campuses: Effective 5:30 p.m., all evening classes have been cancelled and examinations postponed.
  • Sheridan College: Due to weather conditions, all classes scheduled for 5 p.m. or later are cancelled at all campuses.
  • Greater Toronto Hockey League: Games scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014 have been postponed due to weather conditions.
