Ten people face multiple charges after police seized drugs, cash and cars Tuesday in British Columbia and Ontario.

During the seizure, the result of a seven-month police investigation, officers confiscated nearly 650 lbs. of marijuana, $660,000 cash and eight motor vehicles in Toronto and Vancouver.

Eight people were arrested in Toronto and two people were arrested in Vancouver.

The investigation called “Project Lie-See,” was a led by the Asian Organized Crime Task Force – a joint force made up of officers from the Toronto police, the OPP, RCMP and the CBSA -- and the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit and focused on money laundering and drug trafficking.

The following suspects face several charges including trafficking and laundering charges: Bryan Quoc Toan Lam, Steve Thanh Hien Tran, Trung Le Lam, Thanh Sau Tran, David Hoc Troung, Tan Nguyen, Joe Viet Troung, Michael Tuan Van Nguyen, Wali Seddiqi and Ba Tuan Tran.

The suspects arrested in Toronto were set to appear in court on Wednesday. The suspects arrested in Vancouver will appear in court on Friday.
