CAMBRIDGE, Ont. - Waterloo Regional Police have charged a suspect in connection with a shooting in Cambridge.
Investigators say a 26-year old Brampton man was shot multiple times on Saturday as he sat in a parked car.
The victim was listed in stable condition after undergoing surgery.
Police say a woman who was also in the vehicle was unharmed.
Investigators say they arrested 26-year old Hasnain Ali Manji at his Kitchener residence early Sunday morning.
Manji is due in court Monday in Kitchener to face charges that include two counts of attempted murder, weapons dangerous and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
