A male victim is in hospital in serious condition following an early-morning stabbing in Scarborough.
Police said the male was injured at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday, in the area near Birchmount and Ellesmere Roads.
The victim was stabbed in the abdomen with a broken bottle and sustained injuries to his face and arm, paramedics told CTV Toronto.
He was rushed to hospital where he remains in serious condition.
Police have not yet released the name or age of the victim, nor have they said whether they have a suspect in custody.
