Police say a man wanted in connection with a fatal patio shooting in Little Italy this past summer has been arrested in Greece.

Rabih Alkhalil, 25, was taken into custody on Feb. 23.

Police are currently working with authorities to extradite Alkhalil back to Canada to face a charge of first-degree murder in the death of John Raposo.

Raposo was shot in the head on June 18 at the Sicilian Sidewalk Cafe on College Street while dozens of soccer fans gathered to watch a soccer game.

Three other men have previously been charged in connection with Raposo’s death.

Dean Wiwchar, 26, was taken into custody in the days following the shooting and charged with first-degree murder.

On Feb. 16 Martino Caputo, 39, of Toronto, was arrested in Germany. He is being held in custody pending an extradition hearing.

On Feb. 20 police also arrested 36-year-old Niagara Falls resident Nicola Nero and charged him with first-degree murder in the case.

No additional suspects are being sought in the shooting.
