Three people have been transported to hospital after a six-vehicle crash involving a dump truck on Highway 407 Tuesday afternoon.

OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said the collision happened at approximately 3:30 p.m. on the westbound lanes of the highway at Pine Valley Drive. A dump truck, a transport truck, a cube van, and three vehicles, including an unmarked OPP SUV were involved in the collision.

Three people were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
