One man was taken to hospital Friday afternoon with serious injuries following a shooting in Toronto's east end.
The incident occurred at around 2:30 p.m. at a townhouse complex at 3785 Lawrence Ave. in the Lawrence Avenue and Scarborough Golf Club Road area.
Police said the 28-year-old man was taken to Scarborough General Hospital by a female with a gunshot wound, but was transferred to St. Michael's Hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries a short time later.
The incident is being investigated by police and no suspects have been named.
