A 26-year-old Markham woman is dead after a car and transport truck collided in an industrial area of Brampton on Friday morning.
Peel Regional Police Sgt. Josh Colley said emergency crews were called to Summerlea Road and Clark Boulevard at 10:35 a.m. for a report of a collision.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, Colley said.
The intersection has been shut down and investigators will attend the scene to determine what caused the collision.
