Toronto police have released surveillance video showing the theft of a poppy donation box from a Tim Hortons.

The video shows two men walking through the restaurant in the Bloor Street West and Dufferin Street area at approximately 6:20 p.m. on Nov. 7.

The men can be seen pacing by the counter and seating area before leaving the location. One of the men can be seen walking out of the store with an item in his hands at the end of the clip.

Police said the item is a Royal Canadian Legion poppy donation box.

Both men have been described as white and between the ages of 18 and 25. Both are approximately 5-foot-10 with thin builds and brown hair.

One was wearing white shoes, blue jeans, a black hoodie with white lettering and a brown bucket hat. The other was wearing black shoes, light coloured pants and a black sweater.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with more information is asked to contact police at 416-808-1400, or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477 (TIPS).
