The Durham homicide unit is investigating a fatal farmhouse fire after two men were found dead inside with obvious signs of trauma to their bodies.
Police also discovered a teenaged male outside on the front lawn in Cannington, north of Lake Scugog, suffering from burns when they responded to the fire early Saturday morning.
The male was rushed to Uxbridge Cottage Hospital and later transferred to Sunnybrook Health Science Centre in Toronto. Police said his condition is stable.
Investigators believe that all three males are associated to the residence, on Cameron Street in Brock Township, which went up in flames around 2:30 a.m.
The names of the deceased are being withheld until their next of kin is notified.
