Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is set to with Toronto Mayor John Tory on Wednesday, marking the first time in 18 years a Canadian prime minister will have visited City Hall.

Tory tweeted about the meeting on Tuesday, saying he is “excited to welcome Prime Minsiter Justin Trudeau to Toronto City Hall tomorrow."

“I look forward to working with Justin Trudeau and his team on behalf of the people of Toronto,” Tory added.

The two are scheduled to meet at 12:15 p.m.

In his tweets, Tory said they would discuss the economy, how to “help people” and climate change.

Trudeau $2.6-billion election pledge towards Tory’s SmartTrack plans is also expected to be part of the conversation.
