The sun will shine on Toronto this week as the temperature is expected to soar to near record-breaking heights.
Environment Canada is forecasting above seasonal temperatures this week with temperatures reaching 20C on Tuesday, 19C on Wednesday and 18C on Thursday.
There is a 40 per cent chance of rain this weekend, according to forecasters.
A record temperature was set in 1987 when Torontonians enjoyed 20.1C weather on November 4. A record-setting low temperature was set just two years later when the weather dipped to -7C in 1989.
The average maximum temperature for this time of year is 9.5C
