TORONTO - An man from Oakville, Ont., allegedly involved in a business scam that bilked investors of more than $8 million has turned himself in to Toronto police.

Adam Spencer, 25, had been wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.

He surrendered to police this morning and was to appear in court later today.

Police say Spencer began raising money between September 2005 and May 2006 as part of an initial public offering of Emexis Integrated Solutions.

He allegedly sold shares in the company before fleeing with millions of dollars in investors' money.
