A downtown Toronto hospital has reopened its emergency department after nearly two weeks of being closed to walk-ins.
The St. Michael's Hospital emergency department flooded on Feb. 16, and was closed completely for the day. It was partially reopened the next day, but has been accessible only to patients arriving by ambulance.
On Monday, hospital spokesperson Leslie Shepherd said the department is now open to all patients.
