BARRIE, Ont. - Police are looking for three suspects after a shot was fired during a home invasion and robbery in Barrie, Ont..
Investigators say three male suspects, allegedly armed with a shotgun, a pistol and a spray canister, forced their way inside a home in the northeast end of town just after midnight.
There were four people in the residence at the time -- including at least one woman -- and police say all of them were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
Investigators say a shot that was fired during an altercation between one of the home invaders and a male resident ended up in a wall, just missing one of the victims.
Police also say that before the bandits fled with an undisclosed amount of property two of the residents were overcome by a substance brought by the suspects.
No suspect descriptions have been released at this time.
