Power has been restored to Etobicoke customers after a pole fire left more than 6,000 customers in the dark Friday night.

Fire crews were dispatched to the pole fire near Ronson Drive and Toronto Hydro worked to restore electricity to affected homes and business.

Just before 7 a.m. Saturday, Toronto Hydro tweeted: "Approximately 30 customers remain without power around Ronson Drive in Etobicoke. Crews are working onsite. ETOR: 30 minutes."

Areas affected by the outage included Highway 401 to Eglinton Avenue and Highway 27 to Jane Street.
