One man is dead following a stabbing in North York early Sunday morning.
Police were called to the area of Highway 400 and Finch Avenue West at around 3 a.m. for a reported stabbing.
According to reports from the scene, the victim drove himself to Humber River Hospital's Finch Avenue site, which provides CT and MRI services only and was not open at the time.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the man, who is believed to be in his 20s, in medical distress.
Paramedics said the victim was transported to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition but he was later pronounced dead.
Homicide detectives have now taken over the investigation.
It is unclear where the stabbing took place and no suspect information has been released at this time.
Det.-Sgt. Terry Browne told CP24 that investigators are currently interviewing witnesses and attempting to notify the victim's next-of-kin.
