A man in his twenties was killed Wednesday morning when he was struck by a vehicle in North York.

The pedestrian, who has not been publicly identified by police, was on Kodiak Crescent, just west of the Allen Road near Sheppard Avenue, when he was struck. He suffered a serious head injury, according to emergency officials.

There are conflicting reports on whether the man was riding a bicycle at the time of the crash.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene to speak with police.

There is no word on whether any charges have been laid against the driver.
