TORONTO - The three main party leaders show no sign of slowing down in the final days before Thursday's election.
Liberal Premier Kathleen Wynne has stops planned today in Kingston, Trenton and Pickering, while Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak starts off in Richmond Hill before travelling south to Oakville and London.
NDP Leader Andrea Horwath will make four stops to support local New Democrat candidates in Essex, London, Brantford and Waterloo.
Horwath fought back Monday against Wynne's weekend attack, in which the premier invoked the late federal NDP leader Jack Layton.
Wynne used Layton's name to slam Horwath for refusing to rule out propping up a PC-led minority government, but the NDP leader said Layton would have stood against the Liberals' scandal-ridden government.
Hudak, meanwhile, said his plan to cut 100,000 public-sector jobs and trim fat in the education system wouldn't compromise special-ed classes.
