DUNEDIN, Fla. - Josh Donaldson says he's looking forward to hitting in the friendly confines of the Rogers Centre after playing in Oakland's cavernous Coliseum.

The Jays' new third baseman says the cold and wind take their toll on hitters in Oakland. In Toronto, the elements are more predictable.

Donaldson says you can feel the difference even at batting practice.

The 29-year-old Donaldson says he took some two weeks to get over the shock of being traded, because he wasn't expecting it. But after thinking it over, he decided the Toronto move could be beneficial for his career.

And part of the reason for that is hitting in the dome.
