Michelle Leslie, Weekend Weather Presenter, CTV News Toronto

Born and raised in Alberta, Michelle Leslie is a graduate of Victoria College at the University of Toronto. She is currently completing a Meteorology degree through Mississippi State University. She is a member of the American Meteorology Society and is accredited by the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society.

In 2003, Michelle joined The Weather Network where she was the only Weather Presenter to log three on air shifts for 19 consecutive hours, tracking major weather events including the tsunami that hit Indonesia on Boxing Day 2004, and the arrival of Hurricane Katrina in the southern United States in 2005. While at The Weather Network, Michelle also reported for Leafs TV, where she produced hockey features about the NHL. Concurrently, Michelle was a producer and anchor for XM Satellite Radio where she covered the 2006 Stanley Cup Finals. Prior to joining CTV Toronto, Michelle was a Weather Anchor and Remote News Reporter at CHCH TV in Hamilton.

From heat waves to freezing rain and blizzards, Michelle is passionate about weather phenomena. In her spare time, she volunteers for charitable causes including animal rescue and rehabilitation, troubled youth, and various cancer support and research organizations.  Catch Michelle weekends at 6pm and 11:30pm on CTV Toronto.
