Two Toronto police officers and one civilian are in hospital following a car crash in the city's east end Monday morning.
The officers were patrolling the Lawrence and Victoria Park Avenues area in their cruiser when it collided with a Cadillac.
Both cars were totalled in the crash but the officers and the male driver of the Cadillac only received minor injuries.
The accident shut down traffic on Victoria Park for hours.
Speed was apparently not a factor in the crash and the officers were not on their way to a call.
There is no word on whether charges will be laid.
