A missing 13-year-old boy last seen in Mississauga Monday afternoon has been located, Peel police confirmed early Monday night.

The teen was last seen in the Hurontario and Dundas streets area at around 3 p.m.

“Police and family are concerned for (his) well-being as it is unusual for him to be away from home this long without contacting his family and he is not familiar with Mississauga,” a release from police Monday evening said.

Police confirmed that he had been located in an update at around 8 p.m.

"(The boy) has been located (and) has been reunited with his parents in good health," the tweet said.
