Bargain-hunters braved snowy weather and long lineups Thursday as they looked to cash in on Boxing Day deals at GTA retailers.

A long line of people snaked around Best Buy’s flagship store near Dundas Square in the early morning hours as they waited for the store to open.

Other retailers, such as H&M, also opened their doors early Thursday, hoping to maximize on the shopping season.

A number of malls around the GTA are also offering extended Boxing Day shopping hours for those looking to take advantage of the discounts.

Here are a few spots that are opening their doors early:

  • Eaton Centre 7am-10pm
  • Vaughan Mills 7am - 9pm
  • Square One 8am-8pm
  • Yorkdale Shopping Centre 8am-8pm
  • Scarborough Town Centre 8am-8pm
  • Dufferin Mall 9am-8pm
  • Promenade 8am-8pm
  • Sherway Gardens 7am-9pm
