A video posted online of a daughter mouthing off to her father using Rob Ford quotes has garnered more than 120,000 views on YouTube.

With the video, Toronto-based TV director Ron Murphy is raising the question: Would you let your child use the same excuses as Rob Ford?

Murphy, who has directed shows like "Lost Girl" and "Trailer Park Boys," told CTV Toronto that the idea was born while he was talking to a friend about justifying a vote for Rob Ford to their children.

He gathered a small crew and father-daughter acting duo, watched all the Rob Ford clips he could find and put the viral clip together in a few hours. He called the video "Rob Ford's Words in the Mouth of a Child."

The video opens on a father, played by Tony Nappo, asking his daughter Ella, "Hey kiddo, were you playing with a ball in here yesterday? Because there's a new crack in the door. Did you do that?"

"I did not do the crack," the young girl responds.

Her dad tells her he has a video, and she snaps "I did not do the crack, and I am not in the habit of making cracks. As for the video, I will not comment on a video that I've never seen or doesn't exist."

After a back-and-forth between the characters, the girl tells her dad that he's not asking the right question and tells him to ask again. She admits that she didn't make the crack, the ball made the crack, "probably in one of my sleepy stupors."
