Highway 400 has reopened following a three-vehicle crash that sent a woman to hospital with serious injuries.
The northbound lanes of the highway were closed at Highway 88 near Bradford West Gwillimbury for several hours Monday morning and into the afternoon following the collision.
On Monday morning, emergency crews were responding to a relatively minor crash on the 400 northbound involving a vehicle and a blocker truck when another collision occurred minutes later.
A white car, travelling at highway speeds, slammed into the same blocker truck, OPP said. The lone female driver of the white car suffered critical head injuries and was rushed to hospital.
