Police shut down a downtown street late Saturday after chunks of ice were seen sliding off the CN Tower.
Simcoe Street, from Bremner Boulevard to Front Street, was closed after the ice chunks fell off the tower and rained down on the street, Toronto police said.
A witness took photos of a piece of ice, which appeared to be the size of his hand.
Police are advising people to stay clear of the area until the hazard threat is over.
