An employee of Toronto’s Parks and Recreation Department has been charged in connection with a child pornography investigation.

Police allege that the man was in possession of child sexual abuse videos and uploaded child sexual abuse videos to an undisclosed website.

Following the execution of a search warrant at a home in the area of Sheppard Avenue East and Hwy. 404 on Friday, police said a suspect surrendered and was arrested.

A suspect identified as Bailey Butler-Antoine, 18, has been charged with two counts of possession of child pornography, making available child pornography and accessing child pornography.

None of the charges have been proven in court.

According to police, Butler-Antoine has been an employee with the city’s Parks and Recreation Department for the past four years within the aquatics, sports and youth programs. Police said the man worked with a range of students -- from young toddlers to adults.

His most recent place of work at Dennis R. Timbrell Recreation Centre and Parkway Forest Community Centre, both located in North York.

Butler-Antoine made an appearance in court on Friday.
