Early subway closures between Finch, Eglinton stations end after 7 years

The TTC has announced that early subway closings on Line 1 between Eglinton and Finch Stations is now over.

Line 1 between Eglinton and Finch Stations has been closing 90 minutes early six nights a week since 2008, when the TTC announced that “necessary subway tunnel repairs” needed to be completed.

For the past seven years, surface shuttle buses would operate between the two stations once the early closures were in effect. 

The early closure came into effect every night of the week, except for Saturday nights.
