Police have closed a section of Adelaide Street after a window at Toronto’s Trump Tower cracked.
Officers said the cracked panel created a risk of falling glass in the area and police had to close the road between Yonge and Bay Streets to ensure public safety.
It is unclear when the road will reopen, but Toronto police said Wednesday that crews won't be able to repair the window until strong winds caused by a fall storm are over.
This isn’t the first time the upscale hotel has had problems with windows cracking or shattering.
The building faced a similar problem in March of last year and in November 2012.
