BRAMPTON, Ont. - Peel Region police have charged a suspect in the shooting death of a 29-year-old man at an engagement party in Mississauga, Ont.
Hardupinder Gill was one of three men shot during a fight at the party last Saturday at about 11:30 p.m.
An autopsy showed Gill died of gunshot wounds to the chest and face.
Jagjit Gill, 23, of Brampton, Ont., has been charged with second-degree murder, attempted murder and robbery with a firearm.
He was due to appear in court Friday.
A second man who was shot was in critical condition but is expected to survive, and a third man suffered minor injuries.
