Police are investigating after a woman was sexually assaulted while walking near Grange Park at night on June 20.
The woman told officers she was around Beverly Street and Grange Avenue at 10:30 p.m. when a man approached her from behind. She said she was dragged into a nearby alleyway where she was sexually assaulted.
The woman said she screamed and fought back. The suspect fled the scene and headed west, according to police.
The suspect can be described as a brown male between the ages of 19 and 20. He was around five-foot-five inches tall and weighed around 150 to 160 pounds. He was wearing a dark plaid shirt and blue jeans.
