Police say a woman has died after she was struck by a vehicle in North York on Saturday.
The incident happened at the corner of Reiner Road and Wilson Heights Boulevard, in the Sheppard Avenue West and Allen Road area.
Police say the 76-year-old woman was attempting to cross Reiner Road when she was struck by a 30-year-old woman in a Chevrolet Spark who turning left onto Wilson Heights Boulevard.
The victim was rushed to hospital where she died of her injuries.
Wilson Heights Boulevard was closed for a police investigation, but later re-opened.
The news came less than one day after a man was fatally struck by a vehicle near Eglinton Avenue and Victoria Park Avenue.
