MASSEY, ONTARIO, Canada -- A two-vehicle crash near Espanola, Ont., has claimed the lives of two people and sent three others to hospital.
Police say it happened Tuesday shortly before midnight on Highway 17 west of the northwestern Ontario community of Massey.
Provincial police say a moving van veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a car.
They say two people in the car were killed, and two more from the same vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries, as well as the driver of the moving van.
No names have been released.
The investigation continues.
