A Toronto school bus driver is facing additional charges after more children came forward to report alleged sexual assaults.

Police said a driver has been charged with the alleged sexual assaults of two pre-teen girls and a teenage boy. The assaults occurred between September 2013 and January 2016, police said in a statement Thursday.

The latest charges were laid after officers reported the driver had been charged with the sexual assault of three other pre-teen children last month.

Those assaults are alleged to have occurred between September 2015 and Jan. 15, 2016.

Police announced last month that 61-year-old Frank Gavas had been charged with six counts of sexual assault and six counts of sexual interference.

On Thursday, officers announced that Gavas is facing an additional three counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual interference.

Gavas was employed by Stock Transportation between 2006 and 2016, and has driven buses for several schools in the Scarborough area. The schools include Georges Vanier Secondary School, Wexford Public School, George Peck Public School and Sloane Public School.

Police said they believe there may be more victims that have yet to come forward.
