A new viral video puts the embattled Toronto mayor in Kathleen Wynne's running-shoe-clad footsteps, appearing ready for re-election.

Rob Ford has made his intention to run in the 2014 Toronto mayoral election clear, promising to kick off his campaign in the new year. But it seems that a mock campaign ad has already begun circulating.

The parody video is a shot-for-shot remake of a new ad from Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne. In the videos, both politicians run through a pastoral scene, listing the things "most people don't know about me."

Wynne's Ontario Liberal Party ad, called "Never Stop," touches on her love of running, efforts to "speak simply" and "get to the point," and set difficult goals.

Ford's version, "Can't Stop," uses an altered version of the script.

"First and foremost, I love running, okay? It's a blood sport."

An actor wearing a "vote for me" t-shirt stuffed with a pillow jogs through a similar landscape, panting and wobbling.

As he flips off a passing vehicle then lights a cigarette, "Ford" one-ups Wynne, tells the electorate he sets goals: "Really, really sincerely. Sky's the limit. Hard to accomplish goals."

Pausing to breathe between his knees, he says "No matter how hard I try, brother, no matter how hard I try. I just can't seem to stop. I have a problem."

But, he splutters, "Everyone's got a problem. People on the weekends, they all have problems."
