A reminder to TTC commuters: A section of Line 1, between St. George and Lawrence West Stations, will be closed on Saturday. 

Major road closures

Two lanes of Jarvis Street at Gerrard Street East will be closed for watermain construction, from 7 p.m. Sunday to March 21. Traffic will be reduced to two southbound lanes, and one northbound lane.

Lake Shore Boulevard

The Lake Shore Boulevard at Leslie Street: Two westbound and two eastbound lanes, as well as the left turn lanes in both directions will be occupied until May 1 due to the TTC Leslie Street Connection Track Project.

Gardiner Expressway closures

Two lanes of the westbound Gardiner are occupied all day, every day until Aug. 1, between Spadina Avenue and Park Lawn Road. Eastbound, two lanes will be occupied from Park Lawn Road to the Humber River.

The Gardiner will be reduced to two lanes between Jameson Avenue and Bathurst Street due to ongoing repairs, all day every day until June 1.

One lane of traffic in each direction will be closed from the Canadian National Exhibition grounds to Grand Magazine Street likely until May.

The eastbound Gardiner Expressway lanes 1,2, and 3 (Lake Shore off-ramp) will be occupied due to touch-up line painting on Saturday and Sunday.

TTC closures and diversions

There will be no subway service between St. George and Lawrence West Station on Line 1 Saturday.

Lawrence West, Eglinton West, St. Clair West, Spadina and St. George Stations will remain open, but Glencairn and Dupont Stations will be closed.

Shuttle buses will not enter Eglinton West Station due to road construction, but will stop at the intersection of Bathurst Street and Eglinton Avenue West.
