Police have now released images of a suspect wanted in connection with an alleged assault on a TTC bus last month.
According to investigators, the incident occurred at around 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 27 on a bus in the area of Eglinton Avenue East and Markham Road.
Police say a 36-year-old woman was sitting at the back of the bus when she closed a window in front of her.
A man, police say, became angry at the woman for shutting the window and began to yell at her.
Investigators allege that the man approached her twice and spat in her face and then assaulted her when he approached her for a third time.
Police describe the suspect as a male between the ages of 23 and 38 with short brown hair. Police say he weighs approximately 140 pounds and stands about five-foot-seven.
He was last seen wearing a purple and green sweater and blue jeans.
