Toronto police have released security camera images of a man believed to be connected to a sexual assault on a subway train.

The assault occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 17, police said.

A 32-year-old woman boarded a northbound subway train at Dundas Station. She was approached by an unknown man, who sexually assaulted her, police said in a statement Friday.

The statement said the woman got off the subway at Lawrence Station, and the man followed her. She went to the collector's booth, and the man passed her and left the station.

The suspect has been described as being between the ages of 20 and 26, and approximately 5-foot-6. Police said he has a thin build, and was clean-shaven at the time. He was wearing a grey toque with a wide brim and a green T-shirt with a circular pattern.
