A man who was arrested in Alberta last week has been charged in connection with the 2012 murder of George Fawell.
Fawell's body was found next to train tracks behind Jimmie Simpson arena on Queen Street East near Broadview Avenue on Aug. 24, 2012.
Michael Martins, 52, was arrested in Medicine Hat on July 9. After being brought back to Toronto, Martins was charged with aggravated assault and forcible confinement.
In total, five people have been arrested in connection with Fawell's death.
On Monday, Mauro "Cruz" Grenados-Arana, 25, was arrested and charged with forcible confinement. Wayne Estwick, 26, was arrested last week, and Lori Ann Crook and Ashley Andrews were arrested last year.
